AdShield Labs, Inc. ("AdShield Labs," "we," "us," or "our") provides a cloud-native ad verification, fraud detection, and compliance platform for enterprise advertisers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and platform, how we use it, and the rights available to individuals under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), and other applicable data protection laws.
We collect information in three categories:
We use collected information to: provide and maintain the platform; run ad verification, fraud detection, geo-audit, and brand-safety checks on behalf of clients; process payments and manage accounts; respond to support and sales inquiries; monitor for misuse or fraudulent activity on our own systems; and comply with legal obligations.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (delivering the platform to our clients); legitimate interests (securing our systems, preventing fraud, and improving the service); consent (where required, such as certain cookies); and compliance with legal obligations.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction or deletion; restrict or object to processing; request data portability; and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request deletion of your personal information; correct inaccurate personal information; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (AdShield Labs does not sell personal information); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Requests can be submitted using the contact details in Section 13.
We retain account and platform data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and audit-record obligations. Audit logs generated for fraud-detection and compliance purposes are retained on a schedule consistent with our clients' contractual and regulatory requirements.
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encryption in transit, access controls, and continuous monitoring of our verification infrastructure. No system is completely secure, and we encourage account holders to use strong, unique credentials.
As a global verification network, AdShield Labs processes data across multiple regions. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, UK, or other jurisdictions with data-transfer restrictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect that data in accordance with applicable law.
As part of our core service, AdShield Labs processes technical and network signals — including IP reputation, traffic pattern, and delivery-path data — to identify invalid traffic, domain spoofing, and other fraudulent activity on behalf of our clients. This data is processed solely to deliver fraud-detection, geo-audit, and brand-safety services, is limited to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes, and is not used to build advertising profiles of individual consumers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and, where required by law, we will provide additional notice.
